Myjive produces creative materials for Home and Garden Television‘s home makeover series Color Correction.
In need of a new logo and intro reel for a show, HGTV asked us to come up with creative materials as colorful & inspirational as the show itself. Color Correction is a home makeover show that offers homeowners a chance to right their decorating disasters. Color experts offer inspired color fixes, selecting the right paint color for the right room, and further decorating flows from there.
Giving audiences an inspiring show lead in, our short reel begins with a drop of paint falling against a colorless background, hitting the ground it explodes into a puddle of color, which then transforms into a butterfly. As the butterfly soars through colorless rooms, it brushes against every object it passes, triggering a flow of color that consumes the scene.
