Goodnight is a Charlotte native with more than 15 years of global experience building B2B and B2C brands, overseeing the development and implementation of successful business-driven and brand-building programs within a number of industries including global Fortune 100 category leaders to tech startups and challenger brands. He joined South as engagement director in June 2016.

Goodnight began his career in story development for some of Hollywood’s top independent production companies before returning home to a state he loves and kick-starting a diverse marketing career spanning global marketing communications agencies such as Wasserman Media Group and Taylor as well as leading corporate marketing teams for category leading brands, including GE and Joerns RecoverCare.
With a deep-rooted expertise in digital marketing, Goodnight has launched transformational strategic endeavors that challenge market assumptions and set a new standard for success for some of the world’s largest brands including Microsoft, Intel, Nike, Coca-Cola, Bank of America, Kimberly-Clark, Diageo, Allstate and Proctor & Gamble.
